The $1.3 Trillion Question: Mapping Australia's Massive Renewable Rollout and Its Hidden Costs
The stunning scale of Australia’s renewables rollout can be revealed: 1000 projects costing $1.33 trillion, including 25,000 more wind towers with 45,000km of associated roads, and 250 million solar panels on 406,000ha, according to Matthew Denholm of the Australian in an article published on 30th September 2025. That represents more than 70% of Australia’s annual GDP.
As soon as the SunCell® is released commercially, wind and solar technology will become obsolete, and the investment, together with the enormous cost of removal and rectification will be a financial burden on all Australian’s.
By contrast we estimate that SunCell technology will provide all the power Australia requires for less than 1% of that amount.
When will our political leaders wake up?
